What will I learn?

Modeling and analysis of the interactions between transport processes and chemical reactions in various systems of engineering interest our faculty. Coupling reactor and process design, optimizing catalysts and process parameters simultaneously enable them to transform technologies via simulations and modeling. Intelligent operations of systems, improved quality, reliability and safety are a hallmark of this area of research in the Department.

Students with BS can apply directly to the PhD program.Minimum undergraduate grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 (based on 4.0); accepted students typically are in the top 10% of class (3.35 or better based on 4.0)Accepted students typically have total GRE score 300 or better (Quantitative of 155 or better).
