What will I learn?

Wright State University's Ph.D. in Engineering Program is an interdisciplinary collaboration between departments within the College of Engineering and Computer Science. Students conduct dissertation research in one of four research focus areas. Focus areas draw on faculty resources throughout the college. Our coursework also uniquely transcends the boundaries of traditional engineering disciplines, creating an educational experience that serves as a strong foundation for exciting, rewarding research and development careers in industry, government, and academia.

Entry requirements

For international students

B.S. degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent, with a minimum 3.0 grade-point average; or an M.S. degree from an engineering program, with a minimum 3.5 grade-point average.

Minimum GRE (Graduate Record Examinations) requirements: Verbal score of 145 or higher; Quantitative score of 156 or higher; Analytical Writing score of 3.0 or higher; or Combined Verbal + Quantitative scores of 301 or higher and Analytical Writing score of 3.0 or higher
