What will I learn?

This fashion degree is taught by well-known industry professionals and connected to the global fashion industry. Students can choose tracks in marketing and merchandising, costuming, wearable technology, sustainability, management and leadership, and more. The BA program in fashion takes a transdisciplinary approach to provide students with a foundation that enables them to work across many segments in the fashion industry.The fashion program combines history, business practices and hands-on studio experience to prepare students for a variety of roles in this global industry. Gaining proficiency in illustration and fluency with materials, traditional techniques and digital technologies, students are prepared for interdisciplinary collaborations through coursework across marketing and merchandising, wearable technology, sustainability, management and leadership, international experience, and fashion and culture. In the capstone experience, students develop a substantial project within an area of focus. Opportunities for internships and study abroad further advance students' professional goals.Through the leadership of well-known industry professionals, students with this degree are connected globally to leaders in the industry.

Entry requirements

For international students

3.0 GPA or equivalent. Must have three years of high school coursework. (If you are currently in high school, ASU needs to see 9–11 grade coursework. If you have completed high school, ASU needs to see 10–12 grade coursework.) Must have and present a completed high school diploma or certificate.
