The world of finance is more complex than ever, creating a need for skilled financial service professionals.Financial services careers are numerous, and include working for commercial banks, multi-line insurance companies, credit unions, stock brokerage and risk management firms, regulatory agencies and other organizations to help customers and clients successfully allocate and manage their financial resources.Maryville’s bachelor’s degree in financial services links students to a wide network of professional contacts in the industry, including local financial service providers such as Edward Jones, so that students can build connections and stay up-to-date on current financial trends.

Entry requirements

For international students

To be considered for admission, applicants should have: A high school diploma with a minimum of 22 units of credits; A high school grade point average of at least 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale). Applicants who do not meet the criteria listed above will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be asked to submit a personal statement before an admission decision is made. The following are acceptable means of providing proof of English proficiency: TOEFL: 69 overall with no sub score lower than 15, or IELTS: 6.0 with no sub score lower than 5, or DET: 95, or PTE Academic: 47 or ELS Centre: Level 112 completed with a 2.5 grade or better. Application deadline: June 1st for the Fall semester and by November 1st for the Spring semester.
