What will I learn?

The graduate certificate in entrepreneurial music serves as an add-on to the course work of master of music (MM), master of arts (MA), or artist diploma students. Upon acceptance into a graduate music degree or artist diploma, you may apply for admittance into the certificate program. This two-year certificate requires 17 credit hours of study and offers courses from both the School of Music and Miller College of Business. Upon completion, you will gain a solid grounding in business, marketing, management, and entrepreneurial skills needed to succeed as a professional musician.

Entry requirements

For international students

To be eligible for regular admission for a licensure, graduate certificate, or master's degree program, you must meet one of the criteria below - earned a minimum of a 2.75 GPA from your undergraduate degree-granting institution. Earned at least 9 graduate credit hours with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA. Have a conferred master's or doctoral degree from an institution recognized by an USDE accrediting association.At Ball State, we have two tiers of admission criteria for international students who wish to pursue a graduate degree: Minimum standards for International Admissions and the Graduate School:NACES member credential evaluation for transcripts from non-U.S. institutions.
