About this course

What will I learn?

The Health Care Management (HCM) Certificate Program offers a curriculum designed to develop strategic management and leadership skills applicable to the health care industry. Recognizing that the health care sector is dramatically different from other industries, this program will introduce participants to advanced business concepts, evaluation techniques and strategic thinking so participants can lead effectively, improve quality, increase productivity and better manage organizational costs. Co-sponsored by WSU's Raj Soin College of Business (RSCoB) and the Boonshoft School of Medicine, the HCM Certificate Program is designed for physicians, nurses and other health care providers administrators and others who could benefit from master's-level business courses focused specifically on the health care sector. Upon completion, graduates are awarded a Certificate in Health Care Management.

Entry requirements

For international students

To be admitted to the program, students must first be accepted into the WSU Graduate School. At a minimum, applicants must have earned a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
