What will I learn?

The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship offers a major in Healthcare Management, preparing students to become leaders in one of the world’s most dynamic and essential industries. The program builds a strong foundation in business, leadership, and operations management applied in healthcare setting. Students learn about healthcare industry structure, key stakeholders, and how their interactions shape care delivery. The curriculum equips students with practical skills to lead teams, improve organizational performance, oversee finances, support high-quality patient care, and navigate the regulatory complexities of the healthcare industry. Students complete general education requirements, supporting courses, business core requirements for the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree, and 24 credits in the major, including an experiential learning requirement such as an internship or co-op. Graduates are prepared to pursue careers in hospitals, health systems, consulting firms, health insurance companies, and public health organizations. Elective courses from across campus allow students to tailor their education to their interests and career goals while gaining exposure to a broad range of healthcare-related disciplines.

Entry requirements

For international students

High school GPA requirement: Equivalent to a minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. For more information on equivalency calculations. Core course requirements: Along with the GPA requirement, students must complete a minimum set of high school core courses, including four years of English (or their native language), three years of science with at least two years of laboratory science in biology, chemistry, and/or physics, three years of mathematics including algebra and geometry, and two years of social studies.
