What will I learn?

Earn two bachelor’s degrees in Information Technology and Management and Industrial Technology in Management in four years to apply information technology in manufacturing or the supply chain. Prepare for a career in information technology within the manufacturing and/or supply chain sectors with a Bachelor of Information Technology and Management/Bachelor of Industrial Technology and Management dual degree from Chicago’s only tech-focused university. Acquire a broad range of technical knowledge and specific capabilities required to select, integrate, install, customize, maintain, and manage the computing infrastructure for an industrial organization. Gain critical thinking, managerial, communication, and leadership skills to excel in management positions. Understand practical approaches for achieving efficient operations using enterprise-level data management systems, industry best practices, and technology deployment. Attain the following career skills from the BITM-BINTM dual degree program: Creating and effectively communicating innovative technology solutions for the problems of business and industry Analyzing, designing, administering, and supporting secure computer and network-based systems that conform to policy and best practices Applying current industry, technical, and mathematical concepts and practices in core information technologies. Experienced faculty use a hands-on, reality-based approach to education with theoretical content and practical application. Apply what is learned in class to solve real-life problems with laboratory-based instruction. Acquire a broadened understanding of industrial operations and the managerial skills needed to move into higher-level positions.
