Entry requirements

For international students

The degree program has a minimum undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.75(/4.00). The undergraduate degree should be in exercise science, kinesiology, or a related field. For all applicants, the following will be required: Statement of Purpose - statement articulating why the prospective student wants to pursue an advanced degree in our program. For applicants who do not have an undergraduate degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or a related field, the following will be required: Prerequisites - at the discretion of the graduate coordinator, prerequisite undergraduate courses may be assigned (e.g., Functional Anatomy, Foundations of Exercise Physiology, Assessment and Evaluation of Fitness and Wellness). Note that while students may be required to take prerequisites, students are fully admitted into the program prior to the completion of prerequisites. Admission is not contingent on the successful completion of prerequisites. Students will enroll in graduate level coursework concurrently with undergraduate prerequisites from their first semester in the program.
