What will I learn?

With an M.Ed. in Elementary Education, you will learn to connect theory with practice and be prepared to play a valuable role in shaping future leaders. At Rivier, we offer elementary education programs for both current and prospective teachers. In the M.Ed. in Elementary Education program, you’ll learn effective teaching strategies and strengthen your mastery of academic content working with professors who are widely recognized regionally and nationally as experts in their fields. This program includes coursework, field experiences, and an internship. Coursework spans a wide range of subjects-reading, mathematics, science, history, the arts, technology, classroom behavior management, and more.

Applicants must have Official transcript(s) from Undergraduate study. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is expected for acceptance into our graduate programs.

Our minimum acceptable scores for standard English tests are TOEFL (61), IELTS (5.5), PTE (43).
