What will I learn?

The College Student Personnel (CSP) Program is a 36-credit hour Master’s of Science in Education degree with a major in Higher Education. Our mission is to educate postsecondary educators and practitioners to understand, teach, and support collegiate student populations. We enable our students to develop abilities that allow them to enter and advance within student affairs areas of higher education. Our students gain practical skills, build an awareness of student cultures, and recognize and develop and appreciation of collegiate student diversity.Our faculty is committed to social justice, equity, and a multicultural pedagogy, designed to improve human communication and a person’s ability to be an active part of a society that incorporates many cultures. We strive to foster critical, reflective students who will also be able, in their professional capacities, to foster critical reflective students.

Entry requirements

For international students

To be eligible to be considered for admission to a graduate degree program, you must meet the following minimum Graduate School requirements: 2.7 (on a grading scale with 4.0=A; approximately a "B-" average) on the last two years of Bachelor's coursework; 3.0 on all previous graduate work (approximately a "B" average).

The English language requirement may be met by submitting: 550 on the paper-based TOEFL; 80 on the internet-based TOEFL; 6
