Entry requirements

For international students

In addition to meeting the Lyle School of Engineering admission requirements for an M.S. degree, applicants are required to satisfy this additional requirement: a B.S. degree in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline. Applicants must submit all post-secondary transcripts and a statement of purpose. Letters of recommendation are optional for M.S. applicants, and GRE scores are generally not required unless the applicant is requesting financial aid. Applications are reviewed holistically.

*There may be different IELTS requirements depending on your chosen course.
