What will I learn?

The Master’s in Psychology expands upon the study of thought processes and behavior of humans and their interactions with others and their environment.Our graduates are thoroughly prepared to provide quality, professional mental health services. The review, evaluation, and study of emotion, motivation, problem solving, use of language, group interaction, adjustments to the social and physical environment, and the normal and abnormal development of these processes are essential foundations for meaningful treatment.This non-licensure concentration allowing for considerable flexibility and can be tailored to meet the career background and/or trajectory of your choice. Students may choose from a variety of courses offered in our department and from other fields to create and foster a unique educational experience

Entry requirements

GPA: Undergraduate degree with GPA of 2.5-3.0, depending on program

Personal essay or Statement of Purpose addressing the following: in 300-500 words, describe and articulate how obtaining this degree will help further your career, and how your career and experiences to date have prepared you for this degree or career path.

Letters of Recommendation which must include two current (not more than 1 year old) letters of recommendation supporting your admission. Letters of recommendations should be from individuals with whom you have worked closely in a professional or academic setting.
