The USF Master and Certificate of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) program is built on principles of equity, social justice, and human rights. In the Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Others Languages (TESOL) program, you learn the role of language education within a diverse array of sociocultural, linguistic, and political contexts. The TESOL MA covers both linguistic theory and practical application. You examine the intersections of language, culture, power, and inequality, and you prepare to be a highly effective teacher, leader, and practitioner in the United States and abroad.
