The Newhouse School’s television, radio and film master’s program gives you the skills you need to be part of the creative, management and production processes of the television, radio, film and online entertainment industries. The television, radio and film graduate program will show you how movies are directed, how TV and film scripts are written and how radio programs are produced. In this one-year program, you’ll learn how to tell stories with visuals and audio. You’ll study systems of production, distribution and exhibition. You’ll benefit from experiential learning–working in state-of-the-art studios, operating high-end digital equipment, and participating in hands-on production experiences. You will work with our experienced faculty to build your own program based on your interests and goals.

An applicant to a graduate program at Syracuse University must provide official documentation of having earned at least a U.S. bachelors degree or its equivalent from another country before enrolling. Some programs require a masters degree, which must be officially documented before enrollment as well. International applicants must have graduated from colleges or universities that are recognized by the national educational authorities of their home countries.
