Summary

UMSL Cyber Start Grant for Fall 2020 - Under this scheme, F1 international students who are unable to report to campus this fall due to COVID19 are able to pay a reduced rate of tuition. • This will only be for the Fall 2020 semester as the students should be on campus in Spring 2021 paying regular rates. • Any UMSL Global scholarship awarded for Fall 2020 would be deferred until Spring 2021. • Students must be enrolled in a degree program conducive to online learning.

MBA Program Requirements

Students must complete at least 30 hours to earn the MBA. The foundation for our MBA is structured so that students complete courses in the core areas of business, including accounting, finance, information systems, logistics/operations management, management and marketing.

MBA Programs

  • Flex MBA — Designed to be flexible with your schedule, UMSL’s Flex MBA program offers a mix of evening, online and hybrid courses that allow you to earn your degree at your own pace.
  • Professional MBA — Our fast-track program designed for executives and their busy schedules, the Professional MBA is a 21-month program that includes a 7-10 day international trip.
  • International MBA — A two-year program designed for people with language proficiency beyond English, the International MBA includes a one-year international internship that will catapult your career to the next level.

Entry requirement for international students

Successful applicants must have completed a baccalaureate degree before beginning the master’s program.

Acceptable Graduate Management Admission Test scores

International students are required to document English proficiency by providing scores from an internationally accepted standardized examination before a decision is made on admission

Grade Point Average

Minimum of 3.0 on 4.0 scale. Students whose GPA is between 2.75-2.99 may be admitted under special circumstances.

Proof of English proficiency

Minimum requirements vary by department. It is recommended that students have a 79 TOEFL, 6.5 IELTS, or 53 PTE-A.
