What will I learn?

The Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction is a 30-hour degree program focused on equipping students to be leaders in the field of education. This program prepares its graduates for careers such as Curriculum and Instruction Directors, Curriculum and Content Coordinators, Academic Specialists/Facilitators, Instructional Coaches, Grade Level/Department Chairs, and many more. The professors in our program equip our graduate students with the knowledge and tools necessary to lead endeavors in curriculum and instruction in order to bring about student success.

Entry requirements

For international students

A waiver of the GRE or MAT requirement may be considered if the student meets one of the following conditions:

Earns an “A-“ or higher in each of the first four courses (12 hours) of graduate coursework in the DBU College of Education, or

Holds a Bachelors degree from the DBU College of Education earned within the past five years with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher, or

Holds a Masters degree from DBU.

English Proficiency Test Scores (good for 2 years after test date)

  • TOEFL - 79 (internet or paper)
  • IELTS (Academic) - Overall Band: 6.0 (No section band lower than 5.5)
  • PTE (Academic) - 53
  • CAE - 169
  • MET - 65
  • iTEP - 3.9
  • DET - 110 (No sub score lower than 90)
