What will I learn?

The Department of Biology provides undergraduate and graduate programs covering the breadth of biology. Course work ranges from introductory biology to specialized courses in broad disciplines of biology. The department has grouped courses into concentrations to help advise students of appropriate programs of study in various biology disciplines. Each concentration provides a breadth of background in basic biological concepts as well as depth in the specific discipline. A student interested in pursuing an advanced degree in any of these programs must meet the general requirements as outlined as well as any additional requirements specified by the major field of study.

Entry requirements

For international students

An applicant must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution and the equivalent major coursework for the program area to which they apply. Grade point average in the undergraduate major minimum required GPA in science courses is 3.0

Minimum TOEFL iBT 80, IELTS 6.5 or PTE 55; some majors require higher scores

Application for Fall - Feb 15.
