What will I learn?

Houston is considered the energy capital of the world and is the gateway to jobs in the energy industry. Bauer College is home to the Gutierrez Energy Management Institute (GEMI), which provides graduate curriculum in energy management that is now internationally recognized. Our energy courses are taught by senior executives in the energy industry.MS Finance students have the option to specialize their knowledge of finance for careers in the energy industry by acquiring a solid knowledge of the economics of the energy industry, energy trading and energy derivatives.

Entry requirements

For international students

Admission eligibility for the Master of Science in Finance program requires a four-year undergraduate degree (or foreign equivalent) from an accredited institution. The undergraduate degree may be in any discipline.
