What will I learn?

The BS in Mathematics and Computer Science is designed to prepare students to compete for the more intellectually demanding jobs in software development or for graduate study in various areas of computer science and applied mathematics such as theoretical computer science, graphics, data analysis, artificial intelligence, and computational methods. ​ It provides challenging opportunities to exceptional students with an interest in the highly theoretical nexus of math and computer science. Mathematics is a key element to the theory and practice of computer science and technology. Sample courses include artificial intelligence, computational mathematics, linear algebra, programming, and theory of computation.

Entry requirements

For international students

Final Transcripts/Proof of Degree Completion - Admitted students are required to submit final secondary school (high school) transcripts and/or proof of degree completion (A-Levels, WAEC, CBSE, High School Certificate, etc.) before enrolling at DePaul. If your transcripts/secondary school exam results were issued in a language other than English - In addition to the original language documents, you will need to submit word-for-word English translations for all pages submitted. If your transcripts and/or secondary school exams results were issued by the school or testing agency in English, you do not need to submit additional translations.
