The doctorate in Hydrology develops knowledge and expertise in the movement and distribution of water on Earth through the study of the water cycle, both processes - condensation, precipitation, infiltration, runoff and evaporation - and states - solid, liquid and gaseous forms. Building upon fundamental knowledge of surface-subsurface hydrology and water resources systems, you can adapt the program to suit personal interests and goals by using analytical, geophysical and computational tools in areas such as environmental hydrology/biogeochemistry, critical zone/vadose zone hydrology, hydrogeology, groundwater hydrology, and water security/policy.
