Entry requirements

For international students

To ensure you are positioned for success in the PPC program and gain a competitive edge for medical school admission, you must complete the required prerequisite coursework. This provides foundational scientific and analytical knowledge that is essential for success as a medical professional.Prerequisites include:Biology with lab (2 semester or 3 quarter terms)General Chemistry with lab (2 semester or 3 quarter terms)Physics with lab (2 semester or 3 quarter terms)Organic Chemistry with lab (2 semester or 3 quarter terms)Recommended Math: One must be Calculus and/or Statistics (2 semester or 3 quarter terms)Recommended Biochemistry (1 semester or 2 quarter terms)At KGI, we welcome students from diverse academic backgrounds into the Postbaccalaureate Premedical Certificate program.If youre still completing your bachelors degree, you may still apply to the program. However, a conferred bachelors degree is required before you begin the program. Please note that transcripts from all postsecondary institutions attended are required.Unofficial transcripts that clearly display both your name and the institutions name can be uploaded through your applicant portal.
