Information regarding postgraduate courses in Hotel management

Hi, Hotel Management is a highly sought after course in New Zealand with excellent opportunities to find work and also permanent Residency there. You are allowed to work about 20 hours a week and you can make an average of 12$ an hour. 

You can try a few good colleges in New Zealand like PIHMS, EIT ( Hawke's Bay) which offers courses with internships in New Zealand. You should budget about 15 to 20 lakhs of funds in India to apply for visa to New Zealand, though you will be able to recover some of them by working part time. An average Hotel Management student should start with a good salary of about 50,000 $ ( 20 lakhs and above) per annum. 

You should try for a 2 year Level 5 or Level 6 program.  

There are a couple of good options for PG in Hotel Management in NZ. Some colleges provide internship (such as PIHMS) within the course.AUT in Auckland has a very reputed Masters program in Hotel Management and their graduates are known to get good placements .University of Waikato too has a good HM program under its Management stream

You are allowed to work 20 hours per week as an international student. However if you are on internship you can work full time, as per the requirement of the course.

The fees varies can vary from 21,000 NZ$ to 24,000NZ$ per annum.
