About the scholarship

CDU International College (CDUIC) provides scholarships to recognise and support high-achieving international students as they begin their journey to becoming graduates of Charles Darwin University.

Type of Award:

15% or 30% off tuition fees for students from all regions excluding China and East Asia (Hong Kong, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, Philippines, and Japan).

Eligibility Criteria:

Interview Requirement: 

The 30% scholarships are competitively assessed and only granted to students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance in their studies. Students must undergo an interview with our Regional Representative to assess their eligibility. If deemed not eligible for the 30% scholarships, they will receive a 15% award. 

This interview will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • understanding the candidate's previous relevant study accomplishments
  • motivations for overseas study and,
  • the impact Charles Darwin University may have on their future career objectives.

Consideration within the interview will also be taken on the applicant’s character, community involvement and leadership potential. 

New Students: Applicants must be new full-fee paying international students. 

Academic and English Proficiency: Applicants must meet the academic and English requirements for their chosen course.
