Application requirements

Applicants are required to provide the following as part of the application: 

A written statement of approximately 400 words outlining: 

• your contributions to community service; 
• any hardships or barriers you have faced and the impact they have had on your path to higher education. This may include but is not limited to; excessive family or carer responsibilities, illness, financial hardship, English language difficulty, refugee background, disability, or coming from a rural, regional or remote location.   

Evidence to support the hardship/s outlined in your written statement. This may include but is not limited to; a Centrelink statement, letter from a medical professional, visa document, Health Care Card, or a statutory declaration. Two letters of recommendation, these can be from any of the following:  community engagement leader, principal, religious leader, teacher.
