Note: Applicants who have already commenced a Master of Mathematical Sciences or transferred from other postgraduate programs are not eligible.
Students are shortlisted based on their
a. The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of:
I. academic merit, and
II. a personal statement which outlines their previous experience in Mathematical Sciences and commitment to applying the learning offered in the Master of Mathematical Sciences.
b. The Scholarship will be awarded by a selection committee consisting of the Head of School of Mathematics and Statistics, or their nominated delegates, and at least one other member of staff from the School of Mathematics and Statistics.
