Other eligibility requirements

The UTS Foundation Studies Scholarship is open to high achieving international students commencing UTS Foundation Studies at UTS College in 2025 or 2026.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants must be international students (these scholarships are not available to Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens, or permanent residents of Australia).

Applicants must meet the entry requirements for entry into UTS Foundation Studies and the academic requirements for scholarship eligibility.

Terms and Conditions

To maintain eligibility, students must: 

• not fail any subjects in any semester of their course (eg obtain a final mark above 50% for each subject)
• maintain satisfactory attendance of the course each semeter in accordance with the recipient’s Australian visa conditions and requirements
• maintain a Full-Time Study Load during all semesters
• be enrolled in the relevant course before the enrolment deadline; and
• once enrolled, not subsequently defer their enrolment in the course or un-enrol in the course.
