Selection based on high academic standing (GPA of 3.5 or greater)
If there is no appropriate nominee in textile and apparel science, the scholarship will be awarded to a PhD or M.Sc. student in the broader areas of Textiles and Clothing
Preference will be given to a student specializing in Protective Clothing who has graduated from an undergraduate program in Human Ecology
