Eligible Programme

All postgraduate taught programmes starting in either September 2026 or January 2027 on our Loughborough and London campuses.

Includes: all full-time, part-time and distance learning MA, MSc, PGCE, PG Diploma and PG Certificate qualifications.

Criteria and eligibility

Self-funding students who studied at and obtained their degree from Loughborough University, hold a Loughborough University validated degree from Loughborough College, or who studied at Loughborough University for one or two semesters via an Exchange programme, and are not in receipt of any other University award*.

*Only students who start their programme from October 2024 onwards (including January starters) and who achieve a first class degree or equivalent can combine the Alumni Bursary with the Excellence Scholarship, or who achieve an upper second-class (2.1) or equivalent can combine the Alumni Bursary with the London Scholarship or Loughborough Business School Scholarship. For international students commencing their studies in 2026, the alumni bursary can also be combined with the London 10th Anniversary Award.
