Other eligibility requirements

Chevening and London Metropolitan University would like to welcome applications from international (non-EU) students who are considering a full-time master's programme in the UK.

To be eligible for a Chevening Scholarship you must: 

• Be passionate about creating lasting positive change and a realistic career plan for achieving it.
• Have lots of examples of your leadership and influencing skills.
• Have at least two years of work experience (2,800 hours), acquired after the completion of your undergraduate degree. 
• Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country or territory.  
• Commit to returning to the country of citizenship from which you applied for at least two years after your scholarship ends.
• Hold an undergraduate degree that qualifies you for a UK master’s programme. 
• Apply to three different and eligible ?UK university courses. If you are conditionally selected for a Chevening Scholarship, you must have received an unconditional offer from at least one of these course choices by the deadline provided. We recommend applying to UK universities as soon as possible.
