Other eligibility requirements

The award of £6000 for MEng students and £4,500 for BEng students (£1,500 per year of study) is to recognise committed students with a household income less than £42,875 hoping to enrol on an Engineering MEng or BEng programme.

For this scheme you must meet the following basic criteria.

You must:

• Be applying through UCAS and hoping to enrol on the first year of a Faculty of Engineering MEng or BEng undergraduate degree (not a Foundation year) at the University of Nottingham (UK Campus) and indicate the University of Nottingham as your first choice University, or be currently studying the Foundation year at the University of Nottingham and expecting to progress into Year 1 of an MEng or BEng degree within the Faculty of Engineering with an average of 60% or above
• Be studying for a first undergraduate degree
• Have Home funding status.
• Have a Household Income of between £0-£42,875, as assessed by Student Finance.
• Not be receiving external sponsorship for your course e.g. from industry/employers (University Core Bursaries and Government grants do not affect your eligibility)
