Eligibility Criteria 1. To be eligible for the Cumbria Global Health and Wellbeing Scholarship, applicants must hold an offer of a place of study on an eligible programme listed above. 2. Only applicants with an offer of a place in 2026/27 will be considered for the award. 3. All applicants must be self-funding students with overseas fee status. 4. For postgraduate students: All offer holders must be holding, or on track to be awarded, the equivalent of a minimum of a UK 2:2 bachelor's degree will be considered for an award. 5. For undergraduate students a. Students applying for a bachelor's degree with a placement year may be eligible for the International Undergraduate Scholarship, however, it must be noted that the award is not payable during the placement year. b. Only offer holders with, or on track to be awarded, the minimum required academic qualifications will be considered for an award.
Value of Scholarship: MSc programmes: £4,000 payable as a fee reduction in first year only • BSc programmes: £4,000 payable as a fee reduction each academic year (up to three years) • MPH programmes: £4,000 payable as a fee reduction in first year only if studying full time. Pro-rata if studying part-time (£2,000 per year).
