To be eligible, candidates must have attained the conditions below by Friday, 29 May 2026: possess an Overseas fee status, be of Bulgarian nationality, have an offer of admission from the University to study a three-year or four-year full-time undergraduate course in the designated Departments or School starting in the 2026–27 academic year (Chemical Engineering, Computing, Dyson School of Design Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering), be educated at a state-funded high school in Bulgaria, and have a household income of £70,000 or under per year.

There is no open application form, and qualified candidates will be invited to complete an online application in June 2026; as part of the application, candidates will be required to write and upload a personal statement in PDF format explaining their personal situation and the barriers faced in continuing their education, providing information about their family’s financial income and circumstances to be considered when assessing financial need, and outlining whether they will have other means of financial support at Imperial aside from this scholarship.
