Other eligibility requirements

Overview

This is an award of up to £7,000 per year for a maximum of four years total study and is open to all new undergraduate and postgraduate taught prospective international students. Successful recipients will have the award deducted from their tuition fees.

This scholarship is awarded at the discretion of the University in recognition of an applicant’s outstanding achievements (academic and / or extra-curricular) and their potential contribution to student life and the University community.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Principal’s Excellence Scholarship – Global, you must meet all of the following conditions:

• Be classified as International (Overseas) fee status by Abertay University
• Hold an offer to study on a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree, on campus, at Abertay in the 2026/27 or 2027/28 academic year. 
• Have met all academic conditions attached to your offer of admission for entry to the University as a new full-time student.

The award will contribute to each year of degree, up to a maximum of four years, while you are studying in Dundee. 

Students who are admitted with Advanced Entry into Year 2 or above of an undergraduate programme, and who meet the above conditions, will also be eligible for this award.
