Eligibility and availability

These scholarships will be awarded to undergraduate and postgraduate students from England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, EU and International students who meet the sport-specific qualification criteria and who meet or exceed their academic conditions for entry.

Scholarships are awarded in the form of fee waivers and are for each year of study, so undergraduates would receive the £2,000 fee waiver for each of the four years of an Honours degree.

Undergraduate students from England, Wales and Northern Ireland are eligible to combine this scholarship with the Stirling Success Scholarship.

Up to 18 scholarships in football, golf, swimming, tennis and triathlon will be awarded, each with a value of £2,000 (undergraduate) or £4,000 (postgraduate) per year of study. Other sporting disciplines will be considered on a case-by-case basis if recipients meet the required criteria.
