Other eligibility requirements

UWE Bristol alumni are entitled to a tuition fee discount of 20% on our full-time and part-time taught postgraduate courses. 

About the scholarship

There are some full-time and part-time courses where the 20% discount does not apply.

Postgraduate research students (PhD, DPhil, MPhil, Prof Doc) are eligible for a 20% discount on the first year of study only if their course is full time, and for the first two years of study only if on a part-time course.

The discount does not apply to retake modules, integrated/continuing professional development courses or degree apprenticeships.

Eligibility

UWE Bristol alumni who have successfully completed a UWE Bristol degree programme (foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate) including students who have successfully completed a UWE Bristol degree programme which is delivered at one of our partner institutions in the UK or overseas are eligible.

Students who have successfully completed the following are also eligible for the UWE Bristol Alumni Scholarship:

• Credit bearing CPD (minimum of 60 credits)
• Certificate, diploma or full award from UWE Bristol or a partner institute awarding a UWE Bristol Degree or Degree Apprenticeship
• Credit bearing Study Abroad or Erasmus/exchange
• Credit bearing summer schools.

Alumni students can only receive the Alumni Scholarship if you are progressing to a higher-level qualification than previously achieved at UWE Bristol. For example, if you completed a Postgraduate Diploma at UWE Bristol and wanted to study another Postgraduate Diploma then you would not be eligible for the Alumni Scholarship.
