Graduate Tuition Scholarships – Doctorate Candidates

Other eligibility requirements

Western New England University offers tuition scholarships of USD $4,000 annually to eligible PhD candidates who are enrolled in at least 6 credits in a semester. Applicants will be awarded the scholarship upon being admitted to an eligible program. Funds will be disbursed evenly each semester that a candidate is enrolled in at least 6 credits. Additional details include the following:

• Available to admitted U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents, and international students.
• Not available to those receiving a tuition discount based on an existing agreement with WNE and their employer.
• Not available to graduate assistants, fellows, or WNE employees receiving tuition assistance.
• Not available for the School of Law and the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences doctoral programs.
• The scholarship can be applied toward one graduate degree program.
• PhD candidates enrolled in at least 6 credits will receive USD $1,333 – USD $2,000 each semester. The max amount awarded is USD $12,000 for a 54-57 credit program*.

*PhD candidates who require additional coursework to fulfill degree requirements will be considered for additional scholarship funding on a case-by-case basis.
