JWU Early Visit Grant

Other eligibility requirements

For Fall 2027, incoming undergraduate first-year students (domestic and international) who visit a JWU campus prior to December 1 of their senior year of high school are eligible for a renewable scholarship of up to $5,000. If the visit occurs by March 1, the award is up to $3,000 annually; if the visit occurs by May 1, the award is up to $1,000 annually, regardless of financial need.

All group visit participants qualify for the visit grant unless you have already received a financial aid offer as a JWU Pledge or JWU Commuter Grant recipient. In that case, you may have reached your maximum award.

Fall 2027 and Spring 2027 applicants who visit and apply by December 1 deadline: Up to $20,000 ($5,000 annually)
Fall 2027 applicants who visit and apply by March 1 deadline: Up to $12,000 ($3,000 annually)
Fall 2027 applicants who visit and apply by May 1: Up to $4,000 ($1,000 annually)
Fall 2028 and beyond: To be determined
