Commuter campus

California State University (Los Angeles) is a commuter campus. However, once in a while they do offer interesting events. Not to mention the fact that it's in Los Angeles, so even if there's nothing fun at school, you can get around on the bus system, which is rather good. The professors are helpful, and there are many classes to satisfy the g.e. blocks. The college has pretty good library and decent parking.

Positive experience

If you are a true freshman, right out of high school, you might not like it since the students tend to be older and most of them commute. However, if you would like to attend a school with mature peers and value your time, this is definitely the place to be.

Vast amount of resources

This school is underrated; California State University LA provides a vast amount of resources for future careers or getting into the graduate school of your choice. It's a good place to be for those who are full-time and part-time employees and still want a university feel and competition. I liked this school so far and would highly recommend this school to anybody who is serious about gaining a valuable education.

I am happy

The school is definitely not for everyone as it is by far a large commuter school and people are serious about getting their degree and moving on...

Respectable program

Just don't be one of those students who spend more time with their friends in campus than studying. Good luck.

For the friendly and positive people

If you are friendly and positive then this is the school for you. If you are interested in partying, you may want to look at other options.
