My experience in Melbourne so far is so good in all aspects. About the study program it is completely a different experience than back in India at the same time i would say the Indian way of studies gave me a strong base for the study here. My program has been designed exellently to push into your mind the aspects of MBA practically rather than just studying volumes of books and forgetting the concepts after one vomits in the examination. The study pattern here is designed in such a way that one atleast carries a handful of knowledge at the end of the course. Being an MBA student without any work experience, i strongly reccomend people to think before taking MBA without work experience, those like me without work experience are definitely at a disadvantage for the course, cause one can understand the concepts clearly only if one practically goes through the process before studying, it also helps to carry the knowledge around in a better way... About the living it takes approximately around $500-$1000 per month...

Always select the cosultancies looking into thier history and thier past success rate. Go for the university you really want to and dont leave that to agenies choice. Have a good reserch on the University you are going to apply and its credit ratings. keep in mind you are going to do a huge investment. Accomodation s always a problem as far as melbourne s concerned.. University lodgings are expensive, but staying there for a month or two is advisable. always better to move away once you get to know about the city and places. Melbourne is not that expensive i should say, if you have a part time job.. and mind you getting your first job is always dificult.. all your luck... the life comes to settle after you start earning. You wont miss any indians here, a lot in melbourne.. you get alll the indian foods and groceries at every corner if the suburbs... always a sharing accomodation of 3 or 4 is good, that too away from city,so the expenses also gets minimised..
