Named after Sir Stamford Raffles, Stamford International University established its first campus in Thailand in 1995. To meet the growing demand for international education in Thailand and the ASEAN region, a second campus was opened in Bangkok in 2009. Programs offered at the university encourage critical and creative thinking and use a variety of pedagogical methodologies to ensure the classes are student-centered. The majority of the university’s faculty are from overseas, from the USA, UK, France, Germany, China, and many more, making it among the most diverse and experienced faculty bodies in Thailand. Student life on campus is a combination of academic and extra-curriculum experiences. The Student Engagement (SE) and Student Council (SC) are always encouraging and supporting students to join activities and clubs in order to create a lively university environment.
