Research
Bradford is a technology University supporting high-quality research from its academics. The University looks for opportunities to apply its research to industry by working with employers and organisations worldwide across the private, public, voluntary and community sectors and by actively encouraging and supporting its staff to engage in research and business development activities.
Bradford’s research harnesses technology for the good of society through three academic themes: Advanced Healthcare; Innovative Engineering and Manufacturing; and Sustainable Societies. Inspirational academics are at the cutting edge of research; recent achievements range from the breakthrough development of a new blood test for cancer, to the detection of a ‘super-henge’ – potentially the largest Neolithic monument built in Britain.
