The NYU SPS Wasserman Center for Career Development provides career coaching, career strategy development, consultation, resources, and training to help students develop their career ambitions. Students participate in career treks and site visits to corporate headquarters such as Deloitte, Hugo Boss, Rialto Capital, and Marriott, amongst others. What’s New

NYU SPS is a forward-looking institution that is continually innovating within the worlds of technology, trade, and travel. The school’s Tisch Center of Hospitality has recently announced its involvement in launching the second TravelTech Lab, an innovation challenge to redesign the future of travel in collaboration with leading innovation platforms HBX Group and Wayra.

The program invites students and startups from around the globe to submit proposals that imagine how virtual and augmented reality technologies and the metaverse can be implemented in the B2B travel sphere, with the aim of enhancing user experience and streamlining operating procedures.

This will be the first time that HBX Group has worked together with Wayra and NYU SPS, and represents an international collaboration that will generate new ideas and develop ways to inspire significant improvements in the TravelTech sector.

Scholarships & funding

NYU SPS provides a wide range of funding opportunities to help students subsidize the cost of their degree, making a globally recognized degree more accessible. The school offers need- and merit-based scholarships and counseling to help students understand eligibility for financial aid. In 2021-2022, more than USD 13 million in scholarships was awarded to NYU SPS undergraduate and graduate students, representing an increase of 3.71 percent from the previous academic year.

Eligibility

Entry requirements

For entry into a graduate program, prospective students must meet their program-specific admission requirements and submit the following:

College/university transcript, which must indicate the date and completion of the equivalent of a United States bachelor’s degree. Transcripts from institutions outside of the United States must be evaluated by a recognized international evaluation agency. A list of eligible agencies can be found on the university’s website.

International graduate applicants will need to demonstrate their English language proficiency, with a recommended TOEFL score of 100, and IELTS score of 7.0.
