The University of Minnesota was established in 1851 in the ‘Twin Cities’ of Minnesota and St. Paul. The University is the flagship land grant university of the State of Minnesota. The campuses in the two cities have nearly 50,000 students. With over 400,000 alumni that include luminaries like Nobel Peace Prize winner Norman Borlaug and Super Bowl Championship coach Tony Dungy, students are never short of inspiration.
