Admission to undergraduate courses at the University of Tasmania requires qualifications equivalent to the 12th year of schooling in Australia.
International students must provide one of the following: UTAS Access Level 6 with a minimum overall score of 60% and no individual skill below 55%; or an IELTS score with an overall Band of 6 and no band less than 5.5; or a TOEFL (iBT) overall score of 72 (no individual skill must be lower than: Reading 10; Listening 9; Speaking 16; and, Writing 19) or a PTE Academic overall score of 50 with no score lower than 42, or provide evidence that you have studied for 2 years full-time with English as the sole medium of instruction and examination. These tests must not be more than 24 months old.
