What will I learn?

The Honours in Marine Science provides an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding while gaining essential research and practical skills relevant to roles in various research and private organisations. This programme includes a supervised research project, often involving the collection of field or experimental data to support the chosen study. The honours specialisation strengthens and expands the knowledge and skills acquired during an undergraduate degree while offering experience in completing a major research project that requires advanced scientific writing and oral presentation skills. An honours degree can also serve as a pathway to further study through a higher degree by research and open additional employment opportunities in industry, universities, or government research organisations.
