Entry requirements

For international students

Admission to Graduate Certificate courses at the University of Tasmania normally requires the prior completion of an AQF7 (or equivalent) undergraduate degree. Specific requirements for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Economic Geology are as follows: (i) a Bachelor of Science/Applied Science majoring in geoscience, or (ii) a minimum of two years' employment as a geoscientist in the minerals industry or government. To demonstrate eligibility for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Economic Geology, applicants must provide a copy of their undergraduate academic transcript/s. Where seeking entry partly or solely based on an applicants previous professional experience, a curriculum vitae and the names and contact details for two professional referees should be provided.
