Sustainable finance is the practice of integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into financial systems to address global challenges such as climate change, resource scarcity and social inequality. It involves the use of methods, tools or products, including green bonds, ESG funds, carbon credit and socially responsible investing, to address such issues.
The Sustainable Finance specialisation will equip you with advanced knowledge and technical skills to navigate the intersection of finance and sustainability. Core units explore environmental finance, global environmental change and business valuation, while elective options allow specialisation in sustainability transitions or sustainability accounting. With expertise in integrating sustainability principles into financial decision-making, you’ll be highly sought after by a wide range of sectors, including investment banking, financial regulation and consulting.
