A Master of Food Science is for you. Up skill with professional training in food safety, food engineering and food product design together with practical food science research.

Extend your knowledge of food science with professional training in food safety, food engineering and food product design mentored by experienced academic and food industry leaders. You’ll study at Murdoch’s Food Centre which is part of the Food Innovation Precinct Western Australia (FIPWA) - a world-class destination for food professionals and researchers committed to advancing knowledge and production of food that is both good to eat and good for you.

Graduate with advanced professional skills in a real food innovation environment with a focus on hands-on techniques while completing a substantial research project or project and dissertation in collaboration with industry.

Entry requirements

For international students

Bachelor degree in any field (AQF Level 7) OR successful completion of the requirements for G1095 (Graduate Diploma in Food Science). AQF Level 7 qualifications broadly relevant to food science, including study in biological or chemical sciences, would be valuable preparation for entry into this program. Admission is at the discretion of the Academic Chair
