About this course

What will I learn?

Sheridan has developed Ontario's first four-year Interaction Design degree. This unique multidisciplinary program cultivates skills of empathy. Through research ideation and problem solving you'll learn how to design successful interactive digital products. These skills lay a foundation for interaction design careers and foster entrepreneurship. What you'll learn Design theory and process. Visual communication and visual culture. 2D and 3D design. Physical computing and the internet-of-things. Programming a variety of devices. Augmented reality and next-gen products. Communication and narrative. Business practices and entrepreneurship. Equity-centred design In this program you'll learn a structured approach to solving design problems that's grounded in research and testing. You'll approach your solutions with empathy and humility using tools from an equity diversity and inclusion position to enhance your final design.
